The Technology Unit within Ooredoo is the backbone of the organization providing all technology services which enable Ooredoo to deliver its services to its customers across all technology platforms, 24/7/365. In other words, it's responsible for the management of all Ooredoo networks, technology infrastructure/ platforms and processes to achieve fast time-to-market, high operational efficiency, and support product/ service innovation, and ultimately drive the financial performance of Ooredoo. The department is responsible to direct the shift to converged core, and cloudification in coordination with IaaS based on the newly set technology strategy namely: turning core platforms into apps built on white label IT infrastructure

This role is responsible for managing and incorporating appropriate technology solutions within the Subscriber Database Management and Repositories functions across the Core Networks domain.

8 years' experience in a similar role.

Experience working with a service provider or telecom operator in similar capacity with hands-on experience in service provider routing and switching.

Prior working experience in SDM/SDL and EPC domains

Significant and proven expertise in Operation & Maintenance activities in 3GPP technologies (GSM, 2G/3G, LTE, 5G)

Proven experience in a customer-oriented environment performing day-to-day SLA based activities (e.g. coordination with system Vendors/ Suppliers/ Supports for technical queries, care support and fast resolution).

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software or Telecom Engineering
